The LOWLAND OUTDOOR Companion Summer, like the Companion Economy sleeping bag, can be used at home as well as during your travel adventures, but is more suitable for the faster chillers among us. The sleeping bag is better insulated because 4 cm high baffles are stitched between the inner and outer ticking.

This allows the down filling -despite the stitching- to retain its full thickness along the entire length of the sleeping bag. A YKK 2-way zipper makes it easy to zipper two sleeping bags together; but if it gets too hot, you can unzip the sleeping bag at your feet and get extra ventilation.

The YKK zipper features an anti snag slider. This eliminates the risk of dust getting between the zipper. This is the most common problem, a zipper that gets stuck and won't open. This happens because there is a piece of fabric between it and it often takes a fair amount of effort and strength to loosen it. Until today, because with this anti snag slider your zipper is fully protected.

The Companion Summer provides insulation up to an ambient temperature of about 2°C. The sleeping bag is filled with 90% duck down and has a soft ticking of 100% Egyptian cotton. This sleeping bag is filled in our own workshop in Maarsbergen.
